Mod Aeon MQ 9 Mod for Kodi 21 (Omega)
Hi @latts9923,

I hear what you are saying about the American Pie audio codec flags not being displayed based on my filename extensions.
If they are being determined by the strAudioCodec column, why are they not displaying now after the update?
None of the audio flags are displaying now after the update.
It was working fine before.

Thanks for the update. I too have the odd tv episode or movie with that audio codec but because it was so rare I just changed it to aac codec in the nfo file.

One issue with this update is the Audio Codec icons only appear if the Icon Size is set to Large, they don't show when set to small or medium.

Ohhh...I see. The light finally came on when Juan Mortyme said he wasn't seeing anything when the flag size was medium or small. I screwed up the new code and only accounted for the large flags. I will get it fixed. Sorry for the mix-up!

Hi latts,
     I am using Aeon MQ 9 Omega Mod v1.4.0 in Coreelec 21.1.1 Omega.Thanks for the great MQ Mod, I wonder if i could check such as pixel format, EOTF  or any additional player process informations  in 'player process info' window.
    Any methods could meet my requirement?

   Thanks again

Thanks so much for picking that up. I had my flags set to small.

You're welcome! I'm not sure what you're asking. I see the pixel format in the player process info window. Are you asking how to display this window?

@JanM201
You're welcome!

Thank you for pointing it out. Sure enough, it was changed to a large icon and the Audio Codec icon appeared.

Hello,
I have a problem with the EPG colors. The colors are not displayed.

In all other Skins the colors are displayed

What is the Problem?

Hi all,

I'm going to give the audio flags issue one last go. See if you agree with me or please point out my flaws.
I normally use a Media Manager to scrape my movies, then I scan them to Kodi.
I'm going to use one example here, so you can all see what I'm talking about.
This is how I named my movie before using the Media Manager - Happiness.1998.4k.10bit.DV.DD.2.0.mkv

This is the MediaInfo for both audio files:

This is the Metadata after the scrape from the Media Manager:

This is the nfo file information:

As you can see, all three identified the correct 2 audio streams.
Ok, I updated the skin to v1.4.1 (Post #1057), then applied the fix from @latts9923 (Post # 1082), and this was the result in your skin:
Image

As you can see, everything worked perfectly. Both audio's showed with their correct flags.

Now, after the last update, this is what I'm getting:
Image

Clearly, something went wrong here. the second audio flag is not correct.
Like I said before, all the audio flags were displaying fine (After I applied your fix), except for Dolby Atmos & DTS-X.
Can't we go back to v1.4.1, apply your fix and then just work on resolving the Dolby Atmos & DTS-X issue.
Something went wrong after the last update, and now all audio flags are broken.
I don't know, maybe someone can enlighten me as to what I'm missing Huh

I will have to check and see if any of that info is available in the player process info.

I don't use a PVR, so I have always struggled with some of the features like the genre colors. I have a genres.xml file in my iptvsimple add-on that looks like this...

xml:
<genres>
<name>Genres Mappings</name>
<genre type="16" subtype="0">Movie</genre> <!-- General Movie/Drama - 0x10 in DVB hex-->
<genre type="16" subtype="0">Movie - Comedy</genre> <!-- General Movie/Drama - 0x10 in DVB hex-->
<genre type="16" subtype="0">Movie - Romance</genre> <!-- General Movie/Drama - 0x10 in DVB hex-->
<genre type="54" subtype="0">TV Show</genre> <!-- Show/Game Show - 0x30 in DVB hex-->
<genre type="54" subtype="0">Game Show</genre> <!-- Show/Game Show - 0x30 in DVB hex-->
<genre type="54" subtype="0">Talk Show</genre> <!-- Show/Game Show - 0x30 in DVB hex-->
<genre type="160" subtype="0">Leisure</genre> <!-- Leisure/Hobbies - 0xA0 in DVB hex-->
</genres>

but I don't see any genre colors in the TV Guide...even in the Estuary skin. Can you provide a copy of your genres.xml?

@JanM201
I just reproduced your problem with the second audio channel. I have a fix. Open Includes.xml and find <include name="media_flags_audio_language">. Replace that and the following include named "media_flags_audio_language2" with this (select View Spoiler to see the code)...
This should fix the codec icon for the second language flag as well as allow you to see the flags for large, medium and small flag settings.

Wow...that's a ton of info. What skin is that? I can ask the developer if it would be OK if I mimicked some of this info.

I need help in finding "Add Source". It used to be in "File Manager". Does anyone know how to get to it?. I need to add some sources in addition to NFS and SMB/CIFS.

Once again, something had changed that "ADD SOURCE" was not available in "Files Manager" menu. After deleting Kodi data, re-configuring it back and restoring backed up Kodi, the "ADD SOURCE" is back.
