Hey Mike,

Ive noticed a bug with "Vertical Menu"on home screen.
If you add 7 items to the menu, then the submenu doesnt open on the top one when hovering the mouse over the left pointing arrow. The rest are working ok, also when theres 6 items the top one works ok.

According to the dev, Artwork Beef isn't needed for Matrix+. So would have to continue to be a personal mod.

Just installed the latest master from github and all seems ok, will let you know if it misbehaves after using it some.

Thanks for the quick fix.

Noticed a small glitch when going back to home screen from a list menu like in the example in the video below. Its at 10 second mark, and it looks like the vertical menu pops up for a split second(unpopulated and without transparency), before it shows the correct one. This wasnt there in the previous version.

I am running Amber since it has a vertical menu and a good skin (it is actually the modified release for v21 that you did ... thank you Smile

). Tried also this one and it is really nice as well and I am thinking to change. Would it be possible to have reduced size option of the font in the main menu like in Amber vertical menu (I would like to see all of the menu without scrolling)?

If any paths no longer seem to work just reselect them in the main menu customizer. Some playlists were renamed but the entries are all updated to point to the new locations.

As for the playlist statistics, embuary helper replaced library.data.provider and that script was removed as a skin requirement. Is mentioned in what’s new. I don’t have the time nor inclination to maintain that script any longer and it really needs a rewrite.

I recently update to omega, I reselected the Playlists in the main menu customizer and even restarted kodi, but the infolines for the movies and show Playlists are still blank. I have the embuary helper addon installed.

Hello @ all,

since Kodi 20 I have an issue with playing 3D movies.
Beginning with Kodi 20.2 and my favourite Aeon Nox skin I got no picture (blackscreen but with sound) if I start a 3D movie. If I push pause I see sometimes the movie picture. Thats all.
First I thought it's a general problem of kodi. But yesterday I have done the update from 20.2 to 20.5. I played first different 3D movies with the raw system and the Estuary skin. The movies were played without an issue. So I installed joyful the Aeon Nox skin, have done my adaptions and if I started a 3D movie I got now a flickering picture.
I changed to Estuary skin and the 3D movie were played w/o any issues again.

For testing I installed the Confluence skin. Here the 3D movies will first be started with flickering. But if I push OK on my remote the control panel comes up and the flickering is gone. This behaviour can be repeated every time.
This showed me that my 3D movie issue is linked with other skins than Estuary.

Does anyone have an idea where this issue could come from?

The past 3-4 Omega nightly updates seem to have changed the space allotted on the menu bar for headings. I use a font called impossible.ttf for my menu bar. I noticed one update got rid of the issue but then in the next nightly it returned and hasn't gone away again....yet. I just wondered if it's a skin thing or a Kodi thing. I don't think it's the font I'm using as it hasn't happened until Omega.

Note how the last letter in each header is clipped. It's like the space that's allocated for the headers has been changed or something.

I am currently using skin version 10.0.1 and the Dolby Vision icons are incorrectly displayed for movies and tv series.

I have not altered spacing for the home menu so this looks like a Kodi issue.

Nothing to fix, if it works for full screen playback then you likely need to update your library to account for changes in stream details previously populated but not yet updated for Kodi library changes. Fullscreen info details are populated during playback, library info is read when the item is Added. Try rescanning your library.

A debug log wasn’t provided but give the latest from GitHub a try. If there are still issues provide a debug log and maybe I can try an alternative but without one I’m as good as blind…

EDIT: A log and a debug log are two different things. Please carefully read how to provide a proper log, don’t assume.

I just upgraded from Kodi 20 to 21. I thought I'd miss the Amber skin, but this is great!

My only question (so far): is it possible to add a 3rd widget for the home screen items? I prefer a vertical menu and there's room for 3 panel rows. For example, in Amber for the Music section I had rows for recently played albums, recently added albums, and most-played albums.

The only oddity I've come across is that for the Music section's wallpaper when I choose the random music background it's just black. If I specifically choose an image or multi-image though, those work. Using random TV shows and random movies for their respective sections works fine.
