This sounds really strange to me...and if the error is not systematic, I'm afraid I can not do anything to support you at the moment. So, for the exact same movie the update was then working properly and afterwards not again?

ok so i figured out what the problem was. i have my skin setup so i view my DB directly in the sources and in file mode and there the update is not working. otherwise it's just working perfectly   thanks for trying to help tough
