we are in 2025 and no news about s928 or s905x5  box with wideveline L1 ?

For people like me that wants an unique box for stream and local playback homatics 4k plus is the unique product ?

I have it with atv14 but i would like to purchase something with better software development in the future

I think form my testing of S928X J/K  boxes, they all support widevine level 1.  They JUST DON'T have prime media certs like Netflix, Prime video, etc.  So widevine does not mean it is a internet streamer.

Fire TV Cube 3 is the other do-it-all option, minus DV FEL and minus 3D.

And you can use this single button press method to bypass Amazon’s ad-riddled UI.

Already tried but all Amazon product with my hardware setup suffer of afr stopping working every time i switch off TV and i'm not the only one (tried also forcing edid with dr HDMI)

Btw i have also a firestick 4k gen 2

Maybe in the future i Will try again when i Will change TV (already changed avr)

I had Fire TV Cube 3rd gen (under FireOS version with Android TV 11), it worked fine AFR only on Prime Video although there is bug that it does not do AFR when there is 50 fps event. My TV stays 60 fps and is not set, it is a bug I reported but never fixed.

FireStick 4K MAX 2nd gen (under FireOS version with Android TV 12), works AFR no problem on Prime Video (even 50 fps events, TV is automatically switched to 50 fps).
It also works pretty well on Netflix but there is a bug that I reported to Amazon but never resolved this case either in the FireStick 4K and 4K Max devices, both 2nd gen, when the content is 23.976 it is switched to 24 fps and then there is a stutter every 41 seconds or so. 

Under Kodi, AFR works smoothly in all the devices I mentioned above.

After several months talking with Amazon support they replied:

Firestick wasn't designed to be connected to avr

And the problem exist also with firecube

Recently purchased the Nvidia Shield TV pro...but so far have been completely unable to share using SMB/Mysql.  Thinking of trying something else. Maybe not Android if possible. Primary need is to be able to use an IR remote, which works on the Shield TV by using two usb inputs, one for a small device (I forget the name) and the other for the part that lights up when you send a signal.  Currently using a non-Bluetooth Harmony remote which works fine on the Shield even though the shield is primarily a bluetooth machine. Am thinking of one of the beelink devices. Seems to have plenty of usb inputs. Anyone know if I would be able to use this same remote with it?  Thanks, Ken

Shield TV Pro is actually really solid w/SMB. Suggest trying to mount your shares; this should help.

Hey just to be clear this is only with doppingkoala builds? I tried other stable and nightly builds for Odroid N2+, amlogic-no, and none did DV.
