UPDATE #47 - This will update the skin to v1.4.8

Additions

• I created a new button named "ASSIGN VIEW NAMES" to the Top Menu under "VIEW TYPE". This executes a script named "Add_view_names_X.py" (X being the OS you're running) located in the scripts subfolder of the skin. I entered names for all of the views in the script. If you're happy with those names, you can select the button and the names will be entered in settings.xml. If you would like to change the names of each view to your liking, you can edit and save the file associated with your OS and then select the button. If you are using the default Kodi installation path for Windows, you will need to edit the "USERNAME" value with your username (there are three lines that need to be changed). If you are running a portable Windows version, you will need to edit the default path of "C:/Users/USERNAME/AppData/Roaming/Kodi/" to the path of your portable installation. There are also Linux and Android versions of the script. I've tested the script on Windows with a portable install, on Linux with Linux Mint 22, and on Android with a Fire TV Cube. If you are using any other version of Linux or Android, you will need to change the path to the location of your userdata folder.

Bug fix

• I fixed a problem with the weather background image if "WEATHER - BACKGROUND MODE" was set to "SEASONAL". This was caused by an invalid end date entered for "System.Date". Thanks to @andrzejls for reporting the bug!

• After installing this update, if you have the vertical menu selected you will need to copy the contents of MainMenu.xml.vertical to MainMenu.xml to restore the vertical menu.

I like the TVShows widget "episodes in progress" - but in only works for TVShows and not for TVShow-playlists
is it possible to realize this because I now have two playlists - for me and for my grandchildren
I don't like the mixup of both kinds of episodes 
Would be happy if this would be possible

You can display the playlist as a widget, but I'm not sure how to show episodes in progress within a widget.

Thanks for the kind words...glad you like it! If you have a trailer video saved in the same folder as your movie, you can name it "Movie name (2024)-trailer.mp4". You can then access that trailer from the context menu or the video info screen.

Another way I would have to solve the problem would be to be able to put the Pt-Br language in mkvtooolnix. But I only find PT-PT. can someone help me? Thanks in advance.

If you are trying to reset your video database, you can remove all your video sources and say yes to the "Unassign content" alert. That will remove the items from your database. Once all your sources are removed, you should have a clean database.

If you have "atmos" included in your filenames, you can create a Smart Playlist and set the criteria to File as the rule type, Contains as the operator, and atmos as the value. You can then add that playlist as a submenu or widget.

I have reset the data base and set content to none then do it again. First time has work but when i tried to update again the new tv shows was not added to library only movies can update library. what i am missing?

TV SHOW-NEXT AIR add-on. Why it is required?. I have 8.0.4 version and it does now work on Nvidia Shield Pro nor on Firestick 4K Max. (I switched to "Sonarr" about 1 year ago, for that exact reason)  I do not even remember when this add-on worked at all. So why the requirement, does anyone know?
