Release Rapier 12.3.5 for Kodi 19 Matrix
Hi Gade,
Rapier displays nice Media-Type Icons for Blu-rays and DVD´s, based on e. g. .DVD., .BD25. or .BD50. in the file name. Even such antique formats like VHS are supported;-)

Now with the UHD-BD on the market since almost 5 years, wouldn´t it be time, to implement something like a UHD-Icon? This could be triggered by e. g. .BD66., .BD75. and .BD100......

Similar to the above request, is it possible to have Dolby Vision / HLG / HDR10 flagged based on filenames?
(Yes, I am finally moving on from my 16.1 installations heh heh.)

Hi guys.

Thanks for the inputs and great ideas.

I'll see if I can find some time to create support for those media flags.
It's a good idea, so I'll definately make it happen Smile

In the meantime, please see the next post. Big Grin

TESTERS NEEDED!

I have had some time to completely recode addon parts of the skin.

Please try v12.2.36 from my development repo:
https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:Rapier#Dev...Repository

That's a preview version of the upcoming v12.3.0 release.

The following scripts are no longer needed and can be uninstalled:
  • script.extendedinfo
  • script.tv.show.next.aired
  • script.youtube.browser
  • weather.weatherbit.io

These addons can be installed instead to provide the new functionality:
  • script.embuary.info
  • script.embuary.helper
  • plugin.video.themoviedb.helper
  • plugin.video.youtube
  • weather.multi

Please test the skin to see if everything works correctly.
Thanks!

Or even just "4K" or "HDR". All of my UHD rips have this in the filename, would hate to have to go back and rename my 200+ 4K titles. Big Grin

...nice!

I will check over the weekend!

How about Media already in the Library with these flags in the filename? Is the new flag expected to appear after a refresh of the Library?

...i just imported one Titel.bdxl.hdr.iso. Ultra-HD Flag is displayed but i do not see any HDR Flag.

Hi Gade,
i tried out with some other filles with .HDR. or .hdr. in the file name but i do not see any HRR Flag in the Library. How is this supposed to look like??

The Ultra-HD Flag was visible directly ather upgrading the skin. Not even a update of the library required. ...But nothing indicating HDR...strange.

Is your previous post referring to the Kodi splash screen or to a specific skin splash screen?
Because you now asked this question for two different skins.
