[RELEASE] EyeTV Parser (Video Plugin) Addon - Adds EyeTV read support to XBMC for Mac
Beenje Wrote:The parser just gives a list of items to XBMC.
So this is not an add-on problem.
On which platform do you run XBMC?
The best would be to post a debug log in the forum "XBMC for <platform> Specific Support".

I'm on a mid-2011 MacMini i5, running Lion 10.7.2. I'll figure out how to get a debug log and post it.

Thanks

I've added live TV to the EyeTV parser add-on.
Before pushing to the official repo, I'd prefer if someone else could test.
Zip file can be found on github: plugin.video.eyetv.parser-live.zip

Anyone interested?

Note this is for eden (beta2).

Would this work with HD HomeRun?

It should. As I understand the eyetv software is compatible with Homerun and thus addon is picking the stream from the eyetv software.

As I added live TV to the existing "EyeTV parser" plugin, I've merged the "[REQUEST] EyeTV Live TV Plugin" thread with this one.
I just pushed to the eden-pre branch. It should be available for eden (beta2) soon.
Beta testers welcome :-)

This is the IP address of the machine where the EyeTV software is running.
Check "Network" in the "System Preferences" of that machine.
If XBMC is running on the same machine, you can leave the localhost IP (127.0.0.1).

I should maybe change that field type to allow to enter a hostname...

Yes, the list of channels should appear when you click on Live TV.
You don't get any error message?
Can you pastebin a debug log?

Have you enabled iPhone access in EyeTV preferences?
You can try to see if it's working in Safari. Enter this address (in Safari): http://localhost:2170/eyetv/

I'm not sure I get your problem...
How can you access live TV from the home menu? Where does this "live TV" comes from?
I couldn't see anything in your cut debug log. When posting a log, use a website like http://pastebin.com/ and put the full file (don't cut it).

You need to update the add-on settings.
For live TV, enter the IP address of the machine where EyeTV is running.
For recordings, enter the EyeTV Archive path. To be able to select it, you need to add the network location where your EyeTV archive can be found first. See http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=920...tcount=109
