I have the movie, 50/50 in my movie folder, however since the file is named "50 50 (2011).mp4", IMDB won't find it.

Are there any suggestions as to what I can put in the file name for it to be found, or any suggestions on how to tell XBMC to search for "50/50" rather than "50 50"?

does the film show up in the library?
If it does then press info and then 'reload' the information, bottom right will be a manual button, press this and type 50/50 in and it will find it.

I suspect this is the title... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2156771/ listed as a TV movie? Under manual search.... erase all title information and place tt2156771 and it should get what little is listed. Or set it as a TV show, perhaps it's listed in one of the TV databases.

Mine is setup as '5050 (2011)\5050 (2011).Bluray.mkv' but as PatK said, you can just use tt2156771

This worked for me too. If you are using library mode, you can edit it's name after it has been found to show 50/50 if you want.

does anyone figure out yet ? I cant still imdb the damn movie 50/50. If i put the "/" and search the xbmc will give me a message saying "unable to locate server"

I just realized you guys were talking about IMDB.
I scraped it using TMDB with 50 50.
Maybe change your scrapper just this time for this movie?

Add the info through Ember first using the IMDB code tt2156771 and it will work fine when XBMC scrapes Smile

To make it simple... use IMdb as your scraper, IN XBMC hit the 'I' key for information and hit the refresh, should come up with something... (probably not right) click manual and enter tt2156771

Should be good.
