i installed the xbmc 2006-06-25 cvs t3ch build, and configured the x-link kai settings (my login name, password, ip), but when i try to enter by clicking the kai icon on the main page or in the menu on "my programs" the screen is cleared but nothing happens. the xbox freezes and i have to either turn it off or open the disc tray to reset it.

i used x-link kai om my previous build from february this year so i suspect the problem is with the build rather than my pc settings or hardware.

has anyone else the same problem, is it something i have forgotten to edit?

i've got the same problem but i've never been able to get kai to work from xbmc (i've tried several different builds since xmas). it always freezes at the same point.

i would appreciate any help from anyone that might know what the problem is.

- 30-06-2006 changed: a toast message is displayed if last.fm username/password is wrong
- 30-06-2006 added: visible condition weather.isfetched, is true if the weather data is downloaded
- 30-06-2006 fixed: smb shares with special chars (spaces, %..) in them would fail to use correct authentication information when opening files.

never mind chobitx, the latest build is availiable on xbin.
its the july 3rd edition too.
