fired up kai on my pc last night - was gonna have a game of wsop or something online. I was dissappointed to see that there seemed to nobody playing anything apart from halo 2.
is that all kai is used for on xbox or do you occasionally get people playing other games?

i have had several successful public games of Painkiller: Hell Wars. its my current fav game for Kai. the best thing to do is get a friend to play against so that you have at least 2 players in your arena. if you have just you by yourself, it's much less likely that anyone will come join you.

i'll stick with xbox live on my 360 for online play. i thought more people used kai obviously not

I always use kai, but not for "halo 2". Just "far cry".

I have to admit, i've only ever tried halo2 on kai
Used to have good family games with up to 8 people in a private arena, but that's difficult to organise regularly. Now I just jump into games on the public arenas.
I should really try other games, but I don't play often enough to be bored of halo2 yet.

kai is growing i for once play a lot of farcry. i trying to get other people to use kai. get a friend and a game you like start playing both and you see people will join. the problem with kai is that people dont see any room available for the game they go on to other (like Halo 2). Farcry is growing a lot in kai because people see some rooms a they start to play and creating more rooms. its obvious that kai is still growing thats why everyone needs to help i have made a thread about a possible tournament why dont you go there a check it out.

Besides from the fact that I think Halo & Halo 2 suck (and frankly, so do all FPS on a console with handcontroller instead of keyboard+mouse), I've got to agree with the original poster.
Every time I've fired up KAI I've seen 200+ people playing Halo2, 20 people playing Far Cry, 20 people playing Call of duty 3, 5 people playing Forza Motorsport, and THAT'S IT!
There's a whole bunch of games, but noone playing them. Only solution I guess is probably to get a couple of friends together and play against them, but in that case i prefer my PC and online gaming.
Why are people so one track minded, why can't they play anything else but Halo2?

No, they suck! :p
But besides, a bit variation doesn't hurt, does it? ALL don't have to play 1 game ALL the time.

its pretty simple...a lot of people play halo 2 on kai due to the fact its one of the better designed games for system link play. I have played pretty much every game that is system link capable & halo 2 is simply one of the best.

Just sad that it sucks to play FPS with a handcontroller.
