am i the only one or are cddb searches all screwed up as mine? using cvs 10-28.
95%+ of my mp3 files are named after all common standards. i haven't ever botherd about id3 tags, i just take them as they are (they do contain id3 tags). i mostly have 'releases' from the "usual places".
but when i do a cddb query i either don't get hits at all or hits that don't match at all. like searching for erika badu album and get a charles mingus album as a hit. searching for audioslave - audioslave (2002) and don't get a hit at all (and this i think is a pretty popular and recent album). or searching for "creedence clearwater - bayou country (1969)" and first it looks as it finds a creedence album from 1985 but then it says "no albums found!"
couldn't it be possible to do the cddb search result in the same way the imdb search is done? if there isn't a perfect match, list the first 10-100 hits and make it possible to select the prefered one?
