I have the latest SVN (286 ?), and T3CH's latest 7667 build. In My Files I'm seeing these little white boxes next to files that are "unclassified" -- e.g. not media or some standard source:


Also I see them in My Videos for some reason (only in Big Wide view):


Possibly elsewhere...haven't checked everything.

With the most current versions of everything - this is looking good.

A few comments/requests:

1 - on wraplist and bigwraplist - in the music library - by album view - sorted by Artist - Can you please display the Artist Name above the Cover. This would make it much easier to browse using the best looking view. Nice touch in wraplist scrolling some album info.

2 - On the full screen display - when you push menu (in order to bring up the little control icon) a GIANT seek overlay pops up - can you either remove this or make it much smaller and put it in the corner. Also once you select something from the little compass rose icon - i.e. visualization options - the seek overlay remains and obscures the options screen.

3 - Another suggestion for the full screen display - is to make sure the Now playing option doesn't pop up - I know that you can turn this off globally but it would be nice if on the full screen display mode - it either didn't come on - or was smaller and popped up along the bottom of the screen (like the album cover does when you select the title).

4 - When going to playlist and setting view - i.e. Big Wraplist (which when displayed at the little tab at the tops - bleeds over into the next tab) - then leaving playlist and then going back to playlist - the view resets to list again. Would be nice if this view locked when changed

5 - Request to put weather info on the main page as an option - just the current weather (temp and little thumb) would be cool.

6 - Also on the main page - anyway to set the option that if left on this page for a certain amount of time - then it automatically switches to the full screen display view? (or the buttons and frames disappear).

7 - Main page - anyway to move the time and RSS feed closer to the bottom?

I just compiled a few minutes ago and it's looking great, but I wanted to mention that in the Regular Wraplist view, not in the big wraplist view, some of my movie thumbs are showing up different sizes. I use my own thumbnails which I have in the movie folder as .tbn files, so they're not the official IMDB ones, but this problem disappears when I go to the Big WrapList view mode, so I'm guessing it can be fixed.

Also, am I the only one not seeing any background animation? I just did a totally clean install of the newest t3ch and clearity, cleaned out userdata, and the Cache folder, X,Y and Z partitions, and even the XBMC U and Tdata folders, and i haven't seen the animation at all, even since i first started using this skin a week or two ago. Doesn't matter much, the skin looks great, but I'm wondering if I'm missing something here. Background animation is turned on in skin options, and I'm not using a custom background image.

I am still getting those white squares in my wide icons in the video section too, but I'm guessing this is a known problem.

OK, first off.. I'm using XBMC SVN build 7680 and Clearity SVN build 287

In the Video section, when you bring up the context menu on a Folder, you can select "Set Content" to tell XBMC what the folder contains.. This should bring up a new Menu, but it doesnt seem to exist in this skin yet. (See the PMIII skin and you'll see what I mean)

In Full screen Video, the HUGE Seekbar that you can't see through, still shows up whenever you hit Menu, or get the Movie info (the title button on my DVD remote)

In the Video section when viewing via Wraplist, the only filed that gets populated onscreen from the extra info labels at the bottom is the Filesize. (I check and they are set properly if viewed from the Video info screen.)
The labels to seem to get filled OK in the Music section though..

I'll report more later if I find anything else

When your in the IMDB/Video info screen and click the "Cast" button, nothing is displayed. Just the Button label changes to "Plot". Selecting that does bring the Plot info back though...

Also i just wanted to say freaking good job on the skin, this is by far the most exciting project. Its original, new, fresh and unlike any of the other skins ive seen.

I have to say I agree. I love pretty much every aspect of the skin so far, except for that gigantor seek bar.

agreed. the seek display is obnoxious; however, i must say that is the only thing i don't like about this skin.

any chance it might be changed to something less obtrusive? i like the way it looks, but the scale is just a bit much. also, having it centered over the video makes it difficult to search through a file for a particular scene, etc.

i can even see leaving it the size it is and just making it less opaque (or more transparent, if you like).

Smokehead hasn't even started working on the fullscreen stuff, so just hold off a bit on that until he's had a chance to play with it. I'd give him at least a week to give him a chance to fine tune the stuff he's working on atm.

i hope i didn't come across as impatient or complainy.
i'm assuming the smokehead has a job of some kind that prevents him from working on this 24/7 -- though you wouldn't know it from how much effort has obviously gone into this skin.

i just wanted to provide some feedback on the one way i think the skin could be improved. when or if that feedback is ever implemented is nobody's business but the skinner's.
