No worries. I just wanted to make it clear for anyone else reading as well. The master branch is seeing quite active development right now and things are changing rapidly for Frodo.

Understood, now if they would just make some rational naming convention for the artwork I would be a happy camper Smile

Any ideas why if in TV Shows if I go to episode information the image on the left does not show any artwork just the plain TV icon?

EDIT: Ok for some reason the xbmc is not automatically updating the repo. So I did a force and it shows an update but I can't update due to "dependencies not met". Debug log shows it needs script.artwork.downloader 12.0.4 but is unavailable. I have 0.41 and 1.0.19 installed and there is not a newer version available.

By "recently revisited," do you mean you tried one of the recent betas, or that you just looked at 1.1.0 again?

I was fairly certain I corrected the stuttering a few months back, and I just checked and it seems fine. You wouldn't have seen this change in 1.1.0 though (pretty sure it didn't make it in there anyway).

As for the "pop out" I'm really not sure what you mean? The zoom on the focused item? I don't recall ever seeing that not work.

Hi jingai. Well I just tried 1.1.0, but I also tried one of the more recent betas a few months ago, and the problem still existed. I was the one who brought this up to you about a year ago, and I do remember you mentioning that it was fixed, but I'm still experiencing the same problems. When I have a chance, I'll install 2.0 and see if it still exists. If so, I'll try and capture a quick video... (Although I'm sure the 30fps video won't pick up the stutter properly).

Where is 2.0.0 hiding? The Passion version just marked itself broken on my Frodo system (dependencies not met) and I'm back on 1.1, where will this turn up? (just asking, not complaining.. well.. maybe a little Smile )

I've looked some more. It is missing script.artwork.downloader 12.0.4. But the latest available version from https://github.com/XBMC-Addons/script.ar.../downloads is 12.0.3. So I guess we just need to wait till they update.

The master branch requires some beta versions of addons that are not yet in a repo. Specifically Artwork Downloader and Skin Widgets.

Because it depends on the master branch of Artwork Downloader.

As mentioned before, you'll be chasing new versions constantly if you want to use the Frodo version of the skin right now..

2.0.0 will hit the official repo soon I hope, but if you can't wait, it's the Eden branch on github.

You are running a recent nightly build of XBMC that broke (well, changed) this. It's fixed in the master branch of the skin but as you noted you'll also need beta versions of Artwork Downloader and Skin Widgets.

So how do we install 12.0.4? I don't see it available on github in the master branch?

If you pull master, 12.0.4 is what you get. Either that or wait for him to release it in a ZIP archive.

I just installed XBMCSetup-20121111-891ad9c-master (Frodo Nov 11th) on my Windows 7 (x86) box. I'm using the Metropolis-master skin (2.0.0).

I added the TVGuide program add-on to favorites. I can NOT add this to the TV Shows sub-menu in settings. When I go into settings to add this favorite, it does not even show up.
It DOES show up and launch from the Favorites menu on the Home screen. It is in the favourites.xml in userdata (<favourite name="HDHR" thumb="C:\Users\QuadCore\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\script.tvguide\icon.png">RunScript("script.tvguide")</favourite>)

Though I'd pass that along...

Thanks for your patience and help jingai. I went to the github and just downloaded the files for artwork downloaded and widgets as a zip, installed, then installed metropolis no problem.

Correct, because I don't include Program addons in the list of possible addons for shortcuts in the Movies and TV Shows sections. It makes the list full of mostly irrelevant addons.. I could change this if enough people want it, however a workaround is to first add it as a Favourite and then add a shortcut to the favourite.

It DOES show up and launch from the Favorites menu on the Home screen.

I just tried this here and it's working fine for me. I was able to add it as a Favourite for the TV Guide addon, link it to Favourite 1 under the TV Shows submenu, and then go into it via the link.

I am not sure why it's not working for you..

I've added TVGuide, The Trailers, and Artwork Downloader to my Favorites. They all launch from Favorites on the Home Screen.
None show up, when I go to settings and try to add them to the sub-menu. (0 Favorites)

I'm going to guess you don't have the "script.favourites" addon. It would normally be automatically installed (it's listed as a dependency) but since you cloned from github, I'll bet you don't have it.
