Currently I'm using XBMC (OpenElec) in my living room with great satisfaction. We use it to watch photo's, video's and play music. One drawback I find is that for playing music the big LCD TV screen needs to switched on.
Now next week I'm getting a Google Nexus 7 and I was wandering if it was possible to use the Android version of XBMC on the Google tablet and just select the music files I want to listen too but instead on playing them on the tablet they are streamed to the XBMC system in my living and that system plays the audio files.
And yes I know that there are Android applications on the market (Yatse etc..) to control XBMC. But until now I didn't find any control application which is user friendly enough for my wife and children to use. It would be nice if they would see exact the same user interface as when viewing XBMC on the big screen.
