Running latest firmware and the version of xbmc that autoloads on boot (xbmc 12.0-RC2 git 20121220-e4a2a36 Dec 20-2012). Noticed that none of my xbmc settings stick after a power off/on. The 2 i'm most interested in, are to hide the up directory arrows and to start in TV or Video.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

you might ask on the g-box forums.

debug log (wiki) would be a start, but it does sound like g-box messed something up on their side. Maybe file permissions or something.
So yeah, post a
debug log (wiki) (use the debug log uploader add-on mentioned on that page).
