Be sure the zip file you downloaded is the Eden version of script.favourites, since that's the XBMC version you are running. Go to System/Settings > Add-ons > Install from zip file. Navigate to the location where you'd downloaded the zip and select it. Click the OK button and let it complete (should be very fast). Look in your XBMC addons folder and you should see a folder named script.favourites (along with folders for other add-ons). Open that folder and you should see a resources folder along with three txt files, default.py and addon.xml.

Quote:I downloaded the link from post 79 and did exactly as you said but I was expecting to see it listed under enabled add ons and it isnt. It didnt even show me a message that it had ben installed. But I will check the add ons folder in filezilla and see if there is a script.favourites folder in there. No, you won't see it listed under Enabled Add-ons and it installs in the blink of an eye, so you won't see any progress indicator.
Quote:Assuming there is then what else do I need to do or is that it?Depends on what you want to do. If you've already installed the Confluence-MOD Vol. 2 skin, then you now have support for adding custom favourites in that skin.
Quote:Also my documentary folder in the home screen menu scrolls and is shown twice like this
DOCUMENTARY | DOCUMENTARY
And when I go to the documentary link there is only 4 docos in there and they are from my movies folder. How do I get this to link to my actual documentary folder?
I'm assuming the 4 files in there must have documentary in the XML files.
Can I just some how place a XML file in all my docos sub folders to fix this?
