I'm having issues with the Confluence modified skin (skin.confluence.plexbmc-0.4.4). I get a "Dependencies not met" error when trying to install it from zip and the folloeing in the log:
11:34:11 T:3860 ERROR: Texture manager unable to load file: C:\Users\<user>\Downloads\skin.confluence.plexbmc-0.4.4.zip\icon.png

skin.quartzV3.plexbmc-v0.7.2 installs and works fine though. Any ideas?

My setup:
Win7 Ultimate x64
XBMC 12 R3
Plex Media Server 0.9.7.10

Not particularly up to date. Everyone seems to be using PleXBMC with Frodo, so there has been more activity to get this going so it's ready when it gets released.

quick question, im trying to run 3.04 on a raspbmc (latest rc version) to connect to a Plex server 0.9.7.7 on a windows box, ive used the registry key to removal all external security so I can access it easily without myplex username and password, connectivity is fine from every thing else I've tried ios and web and also roku client, but the plexbmc client will only show the top level folders ie the folders I have added directly if I click into any of them to see the contents I get nothing the timer spins for a few secs then leaves me with the same folder view as before, any ideas?

this has been happening on my windows box off & on for a couple months now (all started when I updated the version of plex server on my xp machine)... some days it will work, some days it won't...

That confluence is from, I believe, Dharma and isn't compatible with Frodo yet. I'm looking to mod up the horizontal confluence when I have time.

I don't have a windows PMS to check unfortunately. If you turn on debug in the plexbmc addon settings and send me your xbmc.log file I can have a look. a spinning timer usually means that something isn't responding as it should.

ADD: Set XBMC port, user and password. These values must match those set in settings -> network -> webserver.
FIX: Remove and hide some debug code - addon runs with less noise in log file.

Yes, I need to get the repo back up and running correctly - although I'm not a huge an of enforced upgrades (especially if they break something)

I'm running Frodo with the Aeon Nox 4.0 skin. What modifications are needed to integrate PleXBMC into this skin so it functions like your modified Quartz skin?

Sorry,it works now, I had to restart XBMC after changing the web port in PleXBMC Helper, to match my system settings.

Sorry, yes you need to restart the service: either restarting xbmc or by disable/enable the service in addons -> enabled addons -> services -> script.plexbmc.helper.

After starting a movie from my iPhone (Plex iOS app), with PleXBMC as remote player (it runs direct streaming, not transcoding), is there any way to change subtitles, or do they have to be selected in the Plex iOS app before starting playback?

If they are embedded subtitles (i.e. in the actual movie file) then you should be able to change the selection after playback in the usual XBMC way ( bring up the player controls, navigate to audio and choose your language ). If they are external subtitles (for example a separate,srt file) then you won't be able to change them, as they need to be loaded from the media server.

Restart XBMC.

This is one of those intermittent errors and I have no idea what causes it. It seems to be an issue when passing the data to be processed - but I can see the dra is correct, yet the command fails. I've tried to hunt it down, but always fixes itself. It is a rare error though, which makes it all the more difficult to find.
