hy ronny,
when I downloaded the new skin for frodo, I noticed that the skin download was bigger than the frodo release itself.
Normally no problem, but with just 500 MB a month of data I can get in our remote area, a 50 MB chunk just for a skin is very noticeable.
So is it normal that the skin with an actual Frodo version is deployed every time I download the skin?

ronie, I thought the skin is just an add-on what is much smaller than the whole xbmc program
when I downloaded xbmc frodo what includes the confluence skin it was 45 MB, when I updated your skin via xbmc frodo pre 2 the download was 50 MB.
I was just wondering if transparency is so big or if there might be something wrong that when I choose to update the skin the actual version of XBMC is included in the skin every time

ah, nope.. that 50MB is just the skin.
the size of skins vary a lot.
i depends on how many artwork/icons/backgrounds are included.
i think confluence by itself is about 12MB.
