I'm new to this and was wondering if you can install XBMC to the following Smart Media TV by Google,
4GB Google Android 4.0 WIFI WLAN Smart Media TV. Its a small white box.

No, it only works on the small black box Seriously, download the apk and try it.

Hi i abought one of the black box's lol with the following specs



Android 4.0 OS
1.2GHz cortex CPU
1GB of DDR3 RAM
4GB Nand Flash
HDMI
Optical
Internal WIFI
Support 10/100Mbps

I am just experimenting with the device
Iinstalled XBMc but it is buggy, when scrapping media it crash's.
Still experimenting with builds etc.
but i have to say it is much faster then the apple tvs.

When it says 4GB - its usually referring to its internal storage capacity on these devices. I suspect that your box is actually using an A10 CPU (Allwinner) with 1gb of ram. Being an A10 chipset I suspect it will struggle with most things to do with XBMC.

The one i have isa A1- Allwinner and it does work with XBMC but like i said scraping becomes an issue SD videos all fine HD videos work but it depends how it is encoded.
