I've been struggling with this thing, searching every forum but can't get xlink kai to work. I've set my PC ip address to 192.168.1.4 and all, but i don't know if my xbox is set up correctly. The ip address is 192.168.1.2 but do I change the DNS server to something specific? I run the kai engine on my pc and I'm able to look through the arenas and stuff and it says that it detects my network. But I can't get the service to connect on my xbox. Is this a problem with my router? if so...what should I do in the settings to allow the xbox to connect? I'm getting really frustrated.

Also, in my network connections window of my pc, I have three things: There's internet connections with an icon and "Lan or High Speed Internet" connections with a "Local Area Connection" icon and a 1394 connection icon. Should I have all three or should any be disconnected? I feel like such a noob asking these questions but I'm dying here.

You need to be aware also that there is a bug in the current build where the XBMC Kai UI will not connect to the engine unless you disable it and then enable it in the settings. (Disable, return to home screen then go back nd enable again).
This has ben hapenening for me for some time. It would be good if others would confirm this.
Cheers.
