I'm using this to try and keep watched statuses synced between xbmc and plex. If I watch a show/movie on one of them do I always need to manually sync the other to pull the watched status from trakt or should it do it automatically?

question: how can I start trakt update every time I start xbmc?
I tried the option to start trakt when the library is update, and I enable library update at startup, but unfortunately it does not update all files: old files that were already present in the library are not passed to trakt

I am a bit confused. The add-on isn't working on my new Android-Device either (1.0.1 and 2.0.0). So the problem must be on my side. What exactly should I try in the settings?
Or could it be a problem with my username ("p.h.i"). Any ideas?
Would like to post a log from the android device. But I don't know where to find it.

Is it possible for XBMC to sync up with the watched statuses marked on the Trakt.tv website?
Let me give you an example. Lets say I watch an episode of How I Met Your Mother that was just downloaded in HDTV with sickbeard. It gets marked as watched. The next afternoon, sickbeard automatically got the better (Web-DL) version and deleted the old HDTV version that was marked as watched.
Ideally, running a library update and trakt sync the program would recognize that it is the same episode that was already marked as watched (just a different format) and mark it as watched on XBMC.
What really ends up happening is that I get the Web-DL version showing up as recommended episode even though I already saw it in HDTV format.
Any workaround?

The addon does not care about filenames only show season and episode number. If the episode was scrobbled or a library update happened between watching the episode and the new copy being downloaded it should be caught and marked as watched.
