I have a gk802 with hdmi going to my tv and coax from my tv to my amp. is I possible to bitstream audio from xbmc? my amp supports dd5.1 and dts5.1

if so what build do I need?

passthrough device has no options.

my tv edid doesn't allow bitstream but it work with 360 when display discovery is off (ignore edid)

so if it is possible to bitstream from android, I would need to also override edid In xbmc or Android.

however your wrong

it's nothing to do with hardware, some one confirmed passthrough via alsa_aplay on gk802 so it's xbmc or Android that's the issue but not hardware
