Good to hear
Waiting for the 1.2.4 version, if you are tired of the issue, you can always pummel my face (several times) in the app info view... Big Grin

if you haven't changed the setting, when enabling Settings>Services>Remote Control>Allow programs on other system to control XBMC, XBMC start to listen on port 9090. Checks if maybe your firewall (if any) is blocking communications on this port.

When are you expecting Apple to push that update maybe tomorrow?

Thanks.

:-)
I don't know. From what I have seen in the past, they can take from two to fourteen days.

Sweet, the arrow issue is finally fixed. Thank you, very much missed.

Question
AMAZING XBMC app. This is the fastest one I have ever used. The ONLY reason it is not exclusively the one I use is a lack of trailer support. As you make future versions, PLEASE, think about adding the ability to play local trailers. Not to search for them using you tube, but actually play local trailers for each movie off the hard drive. XBMC Commander is slower then this app but it has trailer support - so I switch between that app and this one.

Thank you for the great app!

I was quoting the information he provided when I wrote that post, but there is an update that will be fixing the arrow issue. Gestures though do work so you can switch to gesture mode and still have the four direction functionality with the current version.
The one gripe I have with the app is that there is no "instant replay", that rewinds back 5-7secs like in the android version. Often times I'll miss what someone says in a show and I have to rewind back 30 seconds, which is way too much. Can you please implement this feature (5 second rewind) in the next update? Thanks
since yesterday, the remote quit, not reaaly quit, the application is open (show in the dock) but when i click on it, black screen then retun to the springboard.

i uninstall the applicaiton & reinstall it, again same thing. can you tell me where and what files leaves on the iPad (preference, tmp, ...)

thank you
The 1.2.3 update seemed to have messed up the navigation buttons. Hope you guys are aware of that.

I gotta use constellation app until that is corrected.

If you need better help testing the updates contact me, perhaps I can help.
Any chance of being able to utilize sort titles? Thanks! Love this app, as it's much more reliable with my large library than any other.

I dont think its a port issue because it works just not the keyboard, my xbmc port is setup to be 8777 for the webserver is there any issue with having it at that and this app? It would be kind of hard for me to change it because i have alot of things (apps) configured that way and that port forwarded in my router. Everything else about the app works, i can reboot, shutdown, control, launch movies, wake on lan ect....

On constellation and this app i have my ip the same, port set to 8777 the same, and mac address the same, they both work, and on constellation the autokeyboard works, just cant get it working with this app.

I forwarded port 9090 now, originally when i tried to forward it my router claimed the port was out of range, now i tried it again and it works.

If i try to input 9090 port into xbmc webserver setting though i get server failed to start. I think thats why i originally changed it.

Is there anything wrong with using my own port 8777? Everything works except the keyboard, and that also seems to work in constellation using that port.
