In xbmc itself though a keyboard pops up on screen.if you haven't changed the setting, when enabling Settings>Services>Remote Control>Allow programs on other system to control XBMC, XBMC start to listen on port 9090. Checks if maybe your firewall (if any) is blocking communications on this port.
I dont think its a port issue because it works just not the keyboard, my xbmc port is setup to be 8777 for the webserver is there any issue with having it at that and this app? It would be kind of hard for me to change it because i have alot of things (apps) configured that way and that port forwarded in my router. Everything else about the app works, i can reboot, shutdown, control, launch movies, wake on lan ect....
On constellation and this app i have my ip the same, port set to 8777 the same, and mac address the same, they both work, and on constellation the autokeyboard works, just cant get it working with this app.
I forwarded port 9090 now, originally when i tried to forward it my router claimed the port was out of range, now i tried it again and it works.
If i try to input 9090 port into xbmc webserver setting though i get server failed to start. I think thats why i originally changed it.
Is there anything wrong with using my own port 8777? Everything works except the keyboard, and that also seems to work in constellation using that port.
Quote:May I ask / suggest a feature? Currently one is allowed to search for movies in the movies section, and TV shows in the TV section. Would it be possible to add an 'across area' search? Maybe in the 'menu' screen?
Issue is that some items are/can be both shows and movies. Separation of search makes things harder to find.
The separation is generally better, but a cross area search has its benefits too...
