@wargo, which remote app version are you talking about?

@Ghostdivision, out of curiosity: have you set the port 8777 inside the app as well? A part that, I can't figure out what is missing. An xbmc.log that shows when the app starts and try to connect to XBMC could be helpful.

I try to get codec info (shortcut O) to display on my raspi which has no keyboard/mouse connected
