Hi:
I'm new to working with this Android device but have been working with XBMC on a windows computer.
I'm trying to set up the Files in the Video Tab. The files I'm looking to add are on a Microsoft PC - on an external drive (JBod) - when adding I'm selecting Microsoft Network (SMB) - XBMC sees the PC but does not let me access the data. The settings on the PC are totally open - no password or username are required - it is running Windows 7.
FYI - the other PCs in the house have no issue accessing this same data / video files?
The Microsoft Network work group is WORKGROUP.
On the same SMB - I'm able to see and access the NAS drive for other video files. The PC which I'm trying to access has UnPnP available on its XBMC setup and with that I can access all files .... I would like to access through the Microsoft Network (SMB) setup
Another questions - I have one G-Box connected to a projector --- that one device seems to sputter/stutter the Video - what are the proper settings to have a smooth playback on that setup? I have tried the most current nightly (April 12) build as well as Frodo 12.1
thanks .....
