go to "customize main menu" and there to the weather entry. There is an option to switch between "show seasons based on north america" or "south america" or "actual conditions". Select your preference. (One could argue that replacing america with hemisphere would be a wise choice, but it makes no difference )

The background image for addons shows 2 blue bars on the left and right side, don't think this is supposed to happen.

After having - not ACE related - MySQL issues, i played again with ACE 1.6.0 and still have 2 minor and one major issue:

Minor issues:

- no mixed case option (i seem to be the only one who wants it, so i edit Font.xml with every new release)
- colored german ratings (ratings are b/w now but colors had a meaning (white: 0-5 years, yellow: 6-11 years ... !), currently workaround via xml editing and custom graphics)

Major issue:

- need an option to disable cdart overlay (3inch discs look really weird)

@dt2510, you have 3 styles for fullscreen, for select another, go to OSD menu using right arrow or press M in keyboard, look for settings button, have others options there for configure.

i know there are 3 styles with options, but i WANT to have the cdart WITHOUT the overlay, cause it's bigger than the actual disc - the other styles don't show cdart. it's also the same in main menu's just playing ....

on page one I readed that ACE is supporting the script "extendedinfo" from Phil65. Is there a chance to show some information like the following one in ACE?

First, awesome skin. It's the one skin I have switched to recently that my roommates actually appreciate!

I do have a quick question. So I am unable to get either logo's or clearart to display when using the Showcase view for TV Shows. It's only showing "Ace". I can run AD and download images, but I am trying to use my local files. And yes, I have gone into AD > Advanced and set it to "use local files". Is there something that I am missing?

My File Structure is as follows:

\\SERVER\Television\Series

The logo.jpg and clearart.jpg are in the Series folder. Is this the wrong naming convention? Sorry if I missed the answer in this, but I couldn't seem to find it.

Since no one else answered, I'll give it a try. Logos and clearart have transparency, so generally they are .png files. It's possible that XBMC doesn't even look for jpg versions of these files. Try manually downloading a png logo file and adding it to one of your movie files. Then re-run Artwork Downloader. If you can see the logo for that movie, there's your problem.

Besides going into AD>Advanced>Use local files, u have to re-run AD or go to the movie, in the library, and run it from there. When it displays the logos u can download, u will see ur logo there usuallty the first one, with a N/A next to it, and u select it from here. It's a hack they did for ppl who wanted to use local ones. It will then do as it is downloading the logo, but it's just applying ur own one.

Very simple question for you, but very difficult answer for me.

In the Home Screen we can see few options i.e Movies - Weather - Music - Settings e.t.c

But nowhere there is the option for Videos
How can i show-activate this option in my Home Screen?

As far as I'm aware there is no option to show "Videos" on the home screen. Personally I've always thought that menu option a bit pointless. What ACE does is automatically break "Videos" up into their respective type, i.e. Movies, TV Shows and Concerts (aka music videos).

Yes,there is not any option.
I have started a Thread ( Video's option is not shown in the Home Screen ).

MarcosQui ,has already answer to me, but i do not know the steps to do that.

Read my thread , and if you know what he means , pls inform me ,how to do it.
