I'll second that request. Having the ability to add favourites to the Addon Panel would be great. Just saves so much drilling through menu's.
Having addons on the home screen addons panel looks really cool, but being able to have those icons go specifically to your most-used part of the addon would be much better.
it would still look cool but would be much more convenient.
couple less important requests:
1 on the home screen when i scroll to the furthest-left item, i think it would be neater if it went to the centre of the screen. every item sits in the centre except the far left and far right icons.
for new users/wifes/kids its no immediately obvious which menu you are in. the submenu comes down, but looks at first glance like its dropped down from the wrong menu item: ie the second-to-the left item, which is in the centr eof the screen.
2 when the addon panel items are highlighted on the home screen can you add an option for a much more larger and more obvious blue highlight? its a bit subtle just now for me.

Update TV/Movie definitely doesn't show up for me, but maybe it's a combination of my setup and the code ? I only have .strm files added to my library at present. Having said that, Update Library appears and works per normal on the right click context menu in the library itself.
Regarding Favourites, just to clarify I wasn't actually suggesting a separate widget, but instead just accces to the Favourites list for the existing AddOn Panel, because mix & match is best for user flexibility (same like when you allowed the Panel to access all addons, not just Video, Music, etc, individually - much better like this).
I understand what you are saying about the artwork. Worst case if it's too hard to support everything, is that maybe art work for these items must be a thumbnail (same as the AddOns themslves). I don't think that is too bad, since artwok can be set separately just for the favourite item itself.
PS: I sneaked a couple of small items on to the requests above since I assume that will be quite easy to add at some stage:
- Preset (Unwatched TV Shows)
- Shutdown (on to System submenu like hybrid, as a MenuOption, or both if it is not too much work)
In any case, this Skin is really becoming truly awesome in terms of functionality, and yet without becoming overly heavy or complex, and retaining the ability to run across multiple platforms and devices.
(some of the other skins availabe are truly stunning in terms of functions and appearance, but are simply way too much as far as ease of use and friendliness goes for casual users, wives, girlfriends, family, visitors, etc, etc)
Well done Mudislander !!!

Update 1.1.5 Released - Covers most requests
Exceptions - still to be done
Weather Widget - a simple widget now in git version, if no major problems will be in next update. Still needs a bit more info added.
Favourites on Widgets - would have to be separate widget as cannot browse plugins & favourites in same window. Not yet started work
Unwatched checkmarks (empty square) to be removed and only show watched /partial watched checkmarks
Runtime info still needs adding to media views.
Remove options that are of no use eg
does invisible cursor work for those that wanted it ?
how many people use the default Confluence partially watched icon ?
Who actually toggles the Flagging option for BluRay / DVD etc ?

Thanks for adding the year in OSD! For my Taste the font color should be the same "yellowish" as the title.

Just a quickie....
When will these changes (aka 1.1.4 etc) make it to the repo without needing to become a alchemist..?

OK, I'm lost. 2 issues:
Version 1.1.2 worked fine for me. Highlighting Videos on the main menu it would show "Files" and "Addons". Since updating, highlighting Videos on the main menu only shows "Files" and I can't figure out how to add it back without just rolling back to 1.1.2.
Second, even when rolling back now to 1.1.2 once the screen dims it never comes back out of dim.

invisible pointer - thanks for putting this in. it works but not completely. The cursor goes invisible whenever its not being used which is great but as soon as the mouse is moved the cursor re-appears. What I'd love to have is the ability to have xbmc hide the cursor no matter what ie even when the mouse is moved, and even when left or right-clicks are received by xbmc.
by the way - where are the pointer.png's stored. i thought i might experiment with making every pointer a blank png, what do you think?
