great new application guys! what a progress you guys make, excellent!
however, in the 14-11 build i just tried i found some issues i want to share:
- music database location
having the music database in another location then the $home\albums directory fails to create the music database. i use a seperate directory for xbmc folders so i don't have to rescan everything and this doesn't seem to work. i used the location f:\xbmp_folders\albums and this doesn't work where $home\albums works without problems. by the way f:\xbmc_folders\thumbnails does work.
- picture quality
the picture quality is very very poor. watching 4 mp images it looks like the images are smuched or out of focus on my television set. probably this is because of the 1024*1024 limit recalculation or resizing.
- picture viewing and music
watching pictures and having music on the background is an issue. the next button on the remote skips both the next picture and the next song in the playlist. this should only focus on the next image!
also, after a while the mp3 play icon is overlayed in the image view mode (sorry ccan't exactly reproduce when this happened, anyone else can confirm??)
- (not a bug) but multiple video cd's stacking
xbmp had the option to stack video files (-cdx at the end). will this be added to xbmc as well?
