edit: for me easier and better. added the tv-shows and movie source to my favorites and then as a tab.

Important

Just a warning - next update due out in a day or two - will break your Home Screen Addons. You will need to note which addons you have where and redo them after updating the MOD.

There will now be the possibility of 5 sets of addons with 5 items in each. this includes any items you have added as a favourite. Unfortunately the existing internal code structure & labelling needs to be changed to accommodate this and therefore old settings cannot be shown.

great news, having any favourite as an icon on the home screen - this is a brilliant facility for your skin imho.

also, i noticed you added the facility to allow users to love and/or ban tracks when using the last.fm addon. and we can do it from the home screen too. Thanks for this.

3D type icons present and working, it just keeps getting better.
Also the weather widget is a nice addition.

Just a consideration...

Is there any chance of being able to view films by year...? So then I could look at a list of those films released in 2013 or 2012 etc etc. I find that is good if you have a large collection of films.

To get the 3D flag to show the movie file name must include "3d" or ".SBS." let me know if there's any mismatches as "3d" was taking a bit of a chance Smile

Hopefully there will not be any titles which have 3D in their name without being 3D...!!!!

I did remember reading that "3dbd" was being used by some skin creators.

No what I meant is....

so when it is selected...

you then get a choice, for example, of a list of films for that particular chosen year only.

The above is taken from the std Confluence skin but I do not have it in the modified version.

vimes, you might be able to add it yourself, by using the skin settings - submenu's and adding it is a video node.

today is a good day to do things, I'm on a roll..!!!!

I assume that if I back up this skins folder then all the customised settings would be saved, whilst I can remember what I have done now I doubt I will by the time I would need to do it again.!

You need to backup "guisettings.xml" to retain all mod settings

I'll add in "Years" to menu options, only left it out as I didn't know of anyone using it Smile

I have found "Years" invaluable if you have a large collection of films. To me it is a basic feature of the Confluence skin that I have enjoyed using.I know that I could extend the recently added list to be longer but sometimes it is the list of films by year only that I like to see.

hey guys. you have an idea how i can create a documentaries tab with two folders/sources? problem, i'm only allowed to assign one type of content to a source like movies or tv shows, both not working.

i have docu movies and shows but would love to have both in one section.
