I have iphone app to use remote . It works perfect while my computer is hard wired to internet. Then I moved computer and connected to tv and installed wireless card so I don't have 50ft cable across floor, but now remote app fails to work. I guess it is an easy fix, but I don't know much about routers etc. So remote app works great when pc is hard wired but not at all when pc is using wifi card

Welcome to the XBMC forums.
Check your remote app's network settings for your XBMC system to be sure they correspond to the new WiFi connection. It's possible your XBMC system was assigned a different IP address by your router when you switched from the wired to the wireless connection. Also, the MAC address is different for the WiFi adapter, so ensure it's correct in your remote app's setting as well.
