hi all,
just installed xbmc and must say very impressed very very nice well done.

i have one problem though. everytime i goto my music dir it has to scan the whole dir (freezes xbox whilst it does this) before i can get a listing.

i have attached my config below for the music share so u can all see but all my other dirs's (ie movies / vid clips / programs) work fine.

any ideas.. its sorta becomming anoying cause when wanting to play songs it takes about 3-5mins to scan the directory to get a listing.

turn off id3 tag reading.

big thanks to fiscus who has said he had the same problem he turned off id3tags in the settings menu and it loads instantly (well pretty close) about 5 secs
