What is the best solution for avoiding the "no available tuners" error? I know that it can be temporarily fixed by restarting the server but that is not going to work as a long term solution. It happens seemingly randomly and it is a huge pain because it crashes XBMC on the client side

Other than that, I would say going back to FFMPEG in your server should help reduce dependencies on 3rd party software of another 3rd party software. VLC is nice but when running a headless server, it only complicates things and such unless VLC can run headless without the GUI and such.

vlc doesnt run headless right now when you start a stream?

2) From time to time if I change to a channel that I do not subscribe to the app will crash and leave me at the add-on page in XBMC where the app seems to not be completely closed.  Many times I have to press escape or "x" to close the add-on.  Sometimes I'm left closing and restarting xbmc.

I'll look into this.

I just thought I would post this, they are using WMC as the backend and its working great. I also have TV Server too. Might be able to work together and make an awesome set of TV Addons.

You asked me to select to CetonInfinityTV6 but the device does not appear in the "Drop Down"

My procedure to make sure I am not missing something:
Download---http://www.mediafire.com/?6ns5538wbrrqmol
Extract with windows explorer
Go to TVserver folder and start TV application
Wait for web page to open and add device
Enter IP address number from Network settings for InfinityTV6
The select device from drop down. Only four device listed

I have checked and the two newest versions break Ceton 4 (0.6.0(b)). The newest version(s) still work with HD Homerun Prime though.

The server side works great and the install is streamlined, installs on its own and put the pvvr in the addons and it works. The only front end is the addon for XBMC, that was the reason I brought it up, these two projects would work great together.

Good News I downloaded the file again and this time it worked, TV server found the InfinityTV6

Day Later:

Bad news--TVServer does not find the InfinityTV6 tuners even after several reboots

I've had an issue lately where sometimes the TV stream is just a green video stream. Sound is fine, but the video is just a solid green screen. It seems to happen when I've left a flash window (twitch.tv or youtube for example) running on the server machine so I'm not sure how its related to that since this is using VLC to stream, right? Closing the browser window thats running flash fixes the problem but is there a way to avoid the problem in the first place? Has anyone else seen a green video stream?

tvserver v0.5.12 and VLC 2.0.5


edit: I'm guessing its related to this flash issue. I'll be disabling hardware acceleration to see if it fixes the stream going green issue.
