CDVDPlayerAudio Discontinuity2 Issue with RTMP making XBMC Crash
#1
Hi all

I have a g-box Mx2 Android Tv box running Frodo 12.0. Any time i stream a file it seems to crash XBMC I have put a copy to my log below and it seems the issue has something to do with CDVDPlayerAudio.

usually an RTMP stream get to about the 20min mark and then just crashes XBMC this is literally on every stream I try to watch making it unusable

Any one else had any similar issues? any fixes around?

You could try upgrading your librtmp.so to see if it helps (if it as you say only happens with RTMP streams). I avoid RTMP like the plague myself, it's an endless road of pain mostly.

I'm experiencing a similar issue (CDVDPlayerAudio:: Discontinuity2 - was:1844354.164642, should be:1818280.839472, error:-26073.325170) with regular MKV files (using both DTS HD & LPCM/FLAC 5.1)

Tried looking at your logfile to spot similarities/differences, but it has been removed. In any case, since this is causing
XBMC to crash quite often (never crashed before), I am posting my log here in case anyone has any ideas as to what
is going on.

The file itself is ok (checked on other players and scanned through with mkvmerge, so something strange is going on)

@wsnipex–do the new Gotham daily builds finally have SDL removed so it has proper dual-screen support? I'm asking since that is working pretty well with the Xvba build. Last time I checked the official 13-branch (~1Mo. ago) it didn't have it.

I am already using the Xvba nightlies. But thanks for the confirmation @Martijn that the official branch still do not support proper dual-monitor setup.
Did anyone look at the debug output to see why XBMC was segfaulting? XBMC has been running rock-stable for a long time, then suddenly this behavior started. There's got to be an explanation for it.

Just my two cents. Not sure if it's the same problem, but these lines are in the log too. Same story: XBMC was running nicely, and then it just started crashing all the time.

Im having similar problem (CDVDPlayerAudio:: Discontinuity2 - ...). When i start playing any movie, after about 10min, the screen get dark for a few second but then continue playing the movie. Problem is, that the sound stop and the only help is to restart xbmc, then it works ok.
Do you have any idea what to do?
