Release CetonTV+HDHomeRun - Watch TV on XBMC (WIN/OSX)
(2013-09-09, 15:51)jfoley Wrote: Just testing out the Remote api call, when I put "http://localhost:8888/getDeviceList" I get "{ "devices": [ ] }"

I am running one tuner.

What browser are you using? If you load the page on Chrome, and then all that url it should show a device.

(2013-09-09, 17:05)Chris732 Wrote: The most recent version ( v0.6.1c) broke the guide on Windows 7 outside the lan. Says error loading. I reverted back to 6.0 and it works fine. Also was there a change to the windows version of pvr.tvserver? One version worked cant recall which one the new one just errors out as soon as it enabled. The logs says something about not being able to initialize dll.

Just outside of lan? Which client is having the guide issue? Does the browser have this issue?

I'll prob look into the pvr dll this weekend.

Oh ok, I should be more specific, the remote is for the http://127.0.0.1:8888/m/ page.

Okay, I am confused. Isn't that link for use on a PC? I see the remote tab on 127.0.0.1:8888/m/iPhone.HTML page but it doesn't list any devices. The drop down is grayed out.

It probably wont be of use for most people. Lets say you have tv client (browser, and possibly xbmc) and you arent near the remote. You can change the channel on that client using the iphone instead.

Going to try to see if I can improve iphone.html segmented streaming tomorrow.
I'll work on adding support for the direct stream as an alternative.

@siak: can you test this to see if this fixes your problem?

This should fix the hdhomerun http device type.

mcheng89 - the new build fixed the "tuner unavailable" issue but xbmc is crashing when I change to a different channel. The crash occurs on Raspbmc 12.2.

I dont have a raspberry pi anymore. I know I tested on OpenELEC and that worked fine.
If you have time, could you see if that version works for you?
I probably was using an old version of openelec though, so I'm not positive that it will work.

@Chris732: were you asking about the raspberry pi also?
(note to self: issue was fixed in pm)

Looking into ios stream issue now...

This is almost always a firewall issue. Try turning off the firewall to see if that fixes things. If you're using Windows Firewall it's a virtual certainty this is the problem.
