I am running a myth backend (.24) on a Debian machine with a PVR-150 card and a Pinnacle-800i card. The 150 is connected to my cable sub and the 800i is connected to my antenna.
I have 2 frontend, both running XBMC 12.2 on Windows XP SP3.
The video from the 800i is pretty good. There is some quality degrading when the image moves fast on the screen but it's not horrible (but it would be nice to fix it)
The video from the 150 starts out OK but quickly degrades to a very digital pixelation, like an ATSC feed when the signal isn't strong enough or there is a storm outside.
I installed the Mythtv frontend on my backend server and checked out the video on a few channels on the 150 card and the quality was excellent. No digital pixelation or dropout!
Any thoughts on what the problem might be?
Thanks,
