Hey Stanley87,
I'm using your script for a while now, and i love it... But i have 2 little things that i need to ask -->
First, i can't use the mini-mode, because its missing a language file (the english one) but..the file is there tho. So is there a little solution for this problem (when i used 0.92 i did not had that problem, and i allready cleared everything, before i did te update to 0.95)
Second, i can't use the update function in Xinbox, its giving me an error, sounds like, it can't find the wright place for the update.
I'm using 0.95 at the moment, hope you can help me...I'm a bit lazy, i don't wanna have to go upstairs, ro check my mail,

Thanks, that solved the major problems....
Now a new one: mini-mode starts, but after a couple of seconds it displays instead of starting, closing..and gone is the mini-mode....so first it pops up, with the message: starting, and in the same pop-up it is closing....result: no working mini-mode?... i received a email, and the pop-up didn't display it..so is this a settings problem, or a little bug in xinbox?

Great script! very useful!
Now that Gmail has added IMAP support could you could implement it in your script?
It's really good seeing my email on my xbox but if I have already read it on the web it still comes up on xinbox. IMAP would sort this out and allow for greater control of email.

Hey,
IMAP - maybe in the future
Mini-Mode works good, it will close straight away IF you have not ENABLED any of your inboxes for Mini-Mode. Do this by editing your account, then editing your inboxes and click Enable Mini-Mode for this inbox.

HI ALL!
Long time.
Had taken a break from scripting and now back into it!
At present:
Working on another decent re-write of XinBox.
Changing it all to use SQL database.
This will allow for quick email viewing/listing
Sort by Date, sender, from etc (like outlook)
Searching of emails
Trash can for deleted emails
Folders for emails eg. Family etc etc
This new version will be written mainly for 16x9 (gives more space for viewing emails etc)
Also, I want to look into building in IMAP support etc and cleaning up the code LOTS!

Was also going to look into printing to a network attached printer.
I know in python you can print to a NAP in windows, not sure how the xbox would work tho..

i figure now XBMC is moving to so many platforms, a good email script would become more and more handy :-D

Good to hear your working on improving the script. Would be good if you could implement a 4x3 tv viewing mode as well as the 16x9. Cheers.
