You should have the script.bbcfootballscores in your addons folder. Restart the app. Do you get any error messages? Can you check the log when after you restarted the app.

This add-on won't work at the moment because the BBC has changed the way it reports scores. I'm working on an update for this but will be slow as I'm quite busy.

Good news is that the BBC data also includes foreign leagues e.g. Spanish, Italian leagues etc. I'm hoping that the updated script will therefore pick these up too.

Also, if a mod sees this can they please move the thread to Program Add-ons. Not sure why it's in Video section!

Both this and the slightly better version of my Random Movie script should both probably go in the repo. Once I'm happy with them I'll submit.

I've uploaded a new version to Github if people wan't to try it out (see post #1).

There's a bit of tidying up to do and then I'll look to add it to main repo.

Probably not. I don't think the BBC web pages (from where this plugin get its data) have the logos.

Not yet. But this is something I'm working on. The idea is that you pick your team and then you don't have to know what competition the team is playing in e.g. Premier League, Champions League etc. Hope to get this done over the Christmas holidays.

Hi,

I just checked that Android is installed but not shown banners, it does not work well.

Now I'm testing on Windows 7 and so far I do not see any change??

I'm not sure I understand what you mean. If the script is failing then can you send me the error message from the logfile.

In Windows 7 yes.

I don't see anything in that file to suggest the script is crashing.

When you start the script do you see the first menu "Select Leagues, Start, Settings, Cancel"?

If you click on "Select Leagues" do you get a list of available leagues?

Select a league - it should then be marked with a "*" - scroll to the bottom of the list and click Done.

Click start,

Try "League Cup" - there are 2 games today.

I think it's an Android issue that prevents the script from accessing locale data. This script gets the current date and time so it knows if it's a new day (one of the tests used to reset data). It's probably not essential and there are almost certainly other ways I can deal with this. However probably won't have a chance to fix this week.
