Did you have these crashes when you were installing manually?
Is the slowdown really like low motion, or is it like when xbmc is buffering - a still image while its buffering, then it starts, then a still image while it buffers again.
I have been using this gotham:
XBMCSetup-20131118-0018656-master

OK, night I installed the Gotham version that KrustyReturns indicated he was using and manually installed the pvr.wmc client. I started up LiveTV and the problem with slow playback has not occurred in several hours. I just installed that version of Gotham over my existing version.

What about the xbmc crash problem?
PS, I do curling too, only it just involves my biceps.

No crashes so far. I realize that, by definition, the nightlies are prone to bugs. It will be interesting to see what the problem actually ends up being.
When I met my wife, and I told her I curled, she thought I curled weights.

I wonder if it needs to be reported, or if its known.

I don't mind installing the latest nightly and repeating the process but as you say, I am not sure how or where to report. Perhaps I can replicate with the XBMC enhanced debugging

yeah if you can get XBMC in debug log mode, and reproduce the problem, we can take it to the support forum first, and perhaps ultimately raise a bug for it. We shouldnt let it slide since if there is a problem in the latest nightlies which causes this, we want to know what the problem is and who needs to do a fix etc

I will load the latest nightly and try to reproduce the problem with debug turned on.

iThe problem of extremely laggy playback of live TV reappears with the latest nightly. I uploaded the XBMC debug log and the serverwmc log. to your google drive.
The XBMC log has a bunch of

Thanks a lot for working on this. I think this needs to be submitted as a bug in gotham to the xbmc team. I know you have done a lot already, but I am swamped right now. Would you be willing to submit it? If not, I will try to get to it this weekend.
