That scenario (going back over a day to find a recording) does indeed not make sense, but past EPG data is useful e.g. when you open the timeline to see if e.g. skiing World Cup is on, and when you don't see it you scroll back a few clicks and see that "crap, I missed it".

Ok but i dont understand why, you can allready use the meny to record and get info but not find a similar show.
Raspberry pi would really benefit, because open this meny is faster then open timelineview.
I have mapped it to -> on my mce remote and it is way faster.

IMO we should add this action to the guide info dialog instead of a context menu.

not sure, context menu may be wiser because of the client specific context menu items that you can't map anyway

do we really need the context menu on the channel guide osd? .. IMO this should be accessed from an underlying window or do we have context menu on other osd's?
But i like the idea to trigger find similar programme in guide info dialog, because this makes sense as you can trigger timer/record etc. here too.

Well you add one extra action that a user must perform to access the same thing. Context menu makes more sense I think, since we already got the code for it, and we access the functionality like that in the other epg windows too.

i think we need this action on guide info osd, because of the less button remotes, which do not hold a context menu button.
anyway i don't like the idea of having a context menu on an osd window, which is only visible/accessible in fullscreen view.

even on a full harmony remote, i have context menu mapped to the GUIDE button (what do others use?) which would present difficulties in accessing the context menu when actually IN the guide screen (since guide toggles the channel guide on/off!). What button mapping do others use for context menu?
