can anyone tell me how i play the entire contents of a folder like a playlist.

for instance if i go to a folder where there are a number mp3s stored i can see them in the list view but only select and play one at a time so how do i get them all to play in the order displayed.
in xbmp i just naviage to the folder and then in the left panel, press play and it plays them all in list order then i skip any i dont want etc.
how do i do this in xbmc?

two ways:

1. select the folder you wanna listen to and hit y to add the whole folder to the playlist -> switch to playlist and play it (depending on your version it should start the playlist right after yu added the folder to it)

2. get your hands on the latest cvs. this has been added to the code today:

11-19-03 added: temporary playlist for directories

and i guess this is what you want.
