Hello, I don't think I have ever been so worried about running an add-on as this one. I have over 1100 movies (and have deleted as many at least) and 71 TV shows with all of their seasons (and deleted about as many)

I ran this add on, it took over 2 hours to complete. After it finished all the scanning stuff, it then deleted over 26,000 images, I gotta say.. I got nervous. Then it moved over 78,000 images to my backup folder. I'm thinking, man I hope I didn't just wipe out all my art work.

When it finished it took my thumb directory from 10.5 gigs, to just over 4 gigs. I checked all my movies, tv shows etc.. end result..

PERFECT! What a fantastic add-on, thank you very much for this! Not so much for the scare I got running it, but for the end result

I have noticed just one issue :
You can't choose a smb share folder as backup folder.
That would be a great addition if you could add it ;-)

Strange, I tested right now and I can select a smb share folder without problems (XBMC asks for user and pass and stores the path with the credentials if is protected)

it brings back indefenitly the settings screen and you have no way to exit.
The only way is to kill XBMC process.

Very nice addon, it did just clean 85000 items, 7gb.

After deleting my movie library, there are 450 items left, 100 mb.
That was a great clean up and very fast.

This weekend, I'll release a new version with a fix for this. I'll completely remove the checks on folder chosen/exists and if you don't choose a folder, the script will use its own script folder

Tried it on two HTPCs both running Windows 7 and both with Gotham 13.1
Works great on one and gives me that error on the other. Looking forward to this new update to fox the "exit" problem. The HTPC it worked on is my test PC and had very few addons but still saved around 420 meg from 424.

My other one has thousands of movies and TV shows, can't wait to see how much it will remove.

Just one question to those without being able to exit the script at the present moment: have you tried pressing the "backspace" key on your keyboard when the error happens? I usually do that when I get crazy windows popping up or not going away, and they get closed.

- Added a checks on startup to be sure the database settings are correct.
- Removed checks on folder backup, if the user doesn't choose any folder, the script will use a backup folder under its own script folder.
