Ok maybe this is a VERY stupid question but i'm just getting to know this skin.

How do I change the view of the skin to look like this video?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JqTmMz9nq_k

I want the movie cases with the discs spinning out.

Next:

I a movie is playing and I press ESC, it goes back to my movie list while the movie keeps playing. I can see the title that is playing in the right corner above. But how do I return to the movie using the keyboard?

Tab
Ok thx Smile And a response to the views change?

And how would a newbie know this? How would I know that tab resumes to the play window?
Is there a tutorial site or something?

By searching in google "xbmc keyboard" : http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=Keyboard_controls

Wink

to change views, press in the direction perpendicular to the natural flow of the current view (i.e. press up/down for horizontal view modes or left/right for vertical view modes). You will have access to the current view options and you can then change the current view to another one.

Ok thx but I tried this but It doesn't work. In the default view that is opened now you can go up, down, right, left. I press the arrows on my keyboard in either direction towards the edges of the screen but the only thing I get is a blue dot like you see in the screenshot

Edit: Ok I found it. I enabled Kiosk Mode and this disables the view options somehow!

indeed, in kiosk mode, you can't change anything.
I've now moved to gotham on my main pc (and aware this is not a gotham supported skin) but I noticed now that when I press "up" when osd is on screen, it skips 10mins into the movie, but previously it would move the osd up to reveal more movie info? Is there a work around for this to get this feature back in gotham?

The Favourites editing osd is off the screen to the left.

Pressing "backspace" when osd is on screen used to back out the osd but not the movie, now it backs out of the movie to the skin menus?

The codec info page is showing distorted text (garbled on top of each other)

Pressing "up" to change the widgets from In progress etc on the home screen now cause the skin to crash Sad

Do we happen to know of any work arounds for any of these skin related issues, to tide us over until this projects abandonment/hiatus is over.
Another issue:
Collections no longer display the names or details of the movies in the collection (sine gotham upgrade)
How do I install this skin on openELEC? The .zip isn't working as we already know, but how do I manually find the addon folder in openELEC? Thanks!

Easiest solution i have is unzipping the downloaded github zip file and then re zipping the correct folder (so with the 1080i folder directly below the skin.arctic folder instead of 2 down). Be sure to just zip and not compress (use winrar for example). Then you can install from zip (works with any addon or skin)
Thanks , I'll try that!
Is there an option to hide the watched/unwatched flags anywhere?
Hey guys sorry if this was already answered: Is there a way to make the "Live TV" main menu item go to EPG view instead of channel list view? Other skins use ActivateWindowAndFocus(MyPVR, 32,0, 11,0) to open the Channel List from PVR main menu and changing "32" to "31" and "11" to "10" opens the EPG view instead of the Channel List.

I am having trouble finding where in this skin it actually makes the call to open the PVR menu when you click the main menu item and the only ActivateWindowAndFocus(MyPVR.....) entries I can find are in the PVROSD xml files which doesn't seem right.

Any ideas? Thanks!
OK I answered my own question, I doubt this is the correct way to do it but I went into Startup.xml and added a line:
<onload>Skin.SetBool(pvr.epgdefault)</onload>
in the <window> tag and now clicking LiveTV goes to EPG view.
This skin still has no mouse support ?
