Nebula 1.x - Gotham

Nebula is a simple and full-featured light or dark color skin designed for Full HD TV screens.

Install from GitHub
If you can't wait for the official skin update in xbmc add-on repository, you can manually install the latest skin revision from GitHub. Here is how:

1. Switch to the "Confluence" skin in Settings.
2. Uninstall "Nebula" from installed Addons
3. Close XBMC
4. Go into your "packages" folder:

Android -> Android/data/org.xbmc.xbmc/files/.xbmc/addons/packages/
iOS -> /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/addons/packages/
Linux -> ~/.xbmc/addons/packages/
Mac OS X -> /Users/<your_user_name>/Library/Application Support/XBMC/addons/packages/
OpenELEC -> /storage/.xbmc/addons/packages/
Windows XP, 7, 8 -> %appdata%\XBMC\addons\packages\

and delete every file starting with "skin.nebula"

5. Download the zipped skin from https://github.com/Tgxcorporation/skin.n...gotham.zip
6. Start XBMC and go to Settings -> Add-ons and select "Install from zipped file". Browse for the file downloaded in point n. 5 and press "ok". The updated skin should install.

Alot developer;no need wip stage becouse have time to find bug and fix all problems.

Played with it around more andi defintely like it very much.
Though one thing is annoying me: moving left/right within the home menu, that is focusing the various main menu items, feels very hard/somehow unfinished.

don't know how to describe this feeling. It's caused by the fact that the focused image in the midle is just changing without any kind of smoothening animation. It just BAM and another image is there. And for me at least this feels extremly uncomfortable, even annoying.

i assume this may be a matter of taste but for me it doesn't fit into the rest very smoothly designed and animated skin.

EDIT:
Also it seems the sidebar for additional options/view within the wether section for weather addons is missing.

The animation on home and cover wrap views has a reason.
I wanted to give the focused item a fixed and static position, while the other items are free to scroll beneath the main item. It's new and as everything new, with time, you have to get accustomed to it.
However if many people are complaining about it, i'll be happy to modify the animation.

The options menu is on the left in the weather screen.

Nice skin and only found one issue so far.

When playing LiveTV and the info screen is opened the first timer seems to be in some kind of loop, it countdowns to 0 it seems.

I really like that skin! Thank you very much!

One question: I tried to enable the artist slide show background while music playback in the settings menu. While it works with Aeon Nox in my setup ( I double checked that with the same music files) with Nebula the background is still white. Do I have to change some additional settings or is that a bug?

Enable it in Settings->Skin Settings->Advanced->Artist slideshow

That's exactly what I've done. But it doesn't show any artist backgrounds in the full screen mode while playing music.

Ok. When in music playing full screen, open the osd (ok on remote or move mouse) and click on the head shaped icon on the top bar. This button cycle between fanart backdrop options.

Tgxcorporation, great skin. I really like the Info screen during movies or Live TV.

One request, I tried finding it but no luck. Is it possible to have an optional home screen, maybe with menu items on the left or just tabs at the bottom for each menu item.
