"Steal" XBMPs RealX stream?

why dont xbmc "steal" xbmps relax stream protocol?

i have seen on this forum that im not the only one having troubles navigate the relax server when entering a path in xbmcs config file.
the only way that seams to work is to have xbmc point to the relax root and navigate from there.

in xbmp i can specify a realx sub share but not in xbmc...

it works fine for me..

here is my relax share defined:

<bookmark>
<name>xns</name>
<path>xns://192.168.0.1:1400/c:/movies</path>
</bookmark>

my relax share is called c:/movies and it maps to c:\movies.

not sure why it does not work for you.

but what if you have more folders in other drives you wanna se in the same relax share? does your setting cover that too?
#4
yes, it covers that as well.

in relax, just drag and drop the shares you want into the virtual share..

for example, i drag and drop c:\movies and d:\movies onto my virtual share called c:/movies.

nope, not for me.

i got xbmc to go into movies fine but xbmc didnt show the other folders i have asigned to relax movie virtual folder, just the one i put in the xbmc config file path...

ex. i have <path>xns://192.168.0.98:1498/g:/movies</path> in my xbmc config and all other folders then g:/movies are not showed...

does it matter if you just map all of your root menu entries instead of doing it individually?

i have:
Quote:<bookmark>
<name>xns</name>
<path>xns://192.168.0.102:1400/</path>
</bookmark>

shows up as 'xns' in my 'my videos', and choosing that shows me what would have been all of my $root$\ entries under xbmp for the virtual directories automatically.

again
relax doesnt work in xbmc. i've contacted the author of relax so we can solve the problems
about xbmp, it aint working in xbmp as it should either. maybe a bit better but not 100%
so hold on, please wait or use another protocol like ccxstream
