I am using XBM 13.2 Gotham, default skin.
I have a lot of Vietnamese MP3 music which are well tagged. XBMC could extract the MP3 tags and show them fine in library mode.
But when I update MP3 tag with a better resolution album art and then run "update the library", XBMC does not update the new album art at all, it still shows the old art, even after I have deleted my music files from XBMC and re-add the files.
Only deleting textures13.db can solve the problem.
Is it some easier way to make XBMC update album art from MP3 tag without having delete the textures13.db?

leave a folder.jpg with the better quality in the same directory. i believe it will pick up the new art and "apply" (not physically) to every song in that directory.

i could be talking out my butt though.

Thanks Helta, sure that will solve the problem but I would like to know why XBMC does not update the embedded album art.
It seems XBMC scan the embedded album art into the database just once.
