First off,

Thanks to all who have made this XBMC working on the home pc. Does anyone have the scripts working? itsll say (running) for about a second, then it goes away. Here is the debugging info.

as far as I know only tetris is working on the windows port I think there are problems with python on the Linux so it will probably be a wile before we see stable scripts and plugins

Apple movie trailers works just fine for me. Ok, streaming doesn't work but setting it to download then play works just fine.

Looking at the log you seem to use a very old version.
get the newest form here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles..._id=585323

Streaming should also work in recent svn builds.

strange, streaming works fine on my vista PC, but doesn't work with the same build on my Media Center 2005 PC. Very random.

yeah we still don't have any explanation for the streaming issue. On my XP SP2 it doesn't work with the debug and release build but when I start either of them via visual studio it does work

Thats it!! I appreciate that very much. Its workingperfectly now. It is not as responsive as it was on the original xbox, but its def good enough.

Do you know how to make it run in full screen mode? the one you linked starts in windowed mode.

Nevermind, i got it by creating a small batch file executing the file with a "-fs" on it. good to go!

You can also do the same thing with a desktop shortcut (add the -fs to the shortcut)

So how was this resolved? I have tried both download and stream with no success. Just a window pops up for sec then nothing. Then the movie icon is grey and check box is besides it. Any ideas?

Ok I do have downloading working now but no streaming... Is this still a bug or should it work. Running windows xp sp2

I think Wiso answers that back on the last page. It appears to be buggy.
