I installed the XBMC PC:

but I have a problem because xbmc detects me my DVD player and CD but it does not want to run the DVD and CD music or access to the root of the player. Yet the reader will update.
with a direct link VIDEO_TS folder on the DVD it works with poor quality.

"XBMC PC", what exacly did you install?, is the EXE (executable) file called XBMC_PC.exe?

...if so then you installed the wrong version, use the installer instead => http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=32973

you SHOULD SEARCH THE FORUM

XBMC_PC.exe -> skinner app, not updated anymore
XBMC.exe -> SDL/OpenGL, the way to go

somewhere I wrote already that the DVD/CD auto detection isn't working yet.
Yesterday I had a good day and added a working version to svn together with some other dvd player related fixes.

Oh ... I figured he inverted the case on the subject and that he meant:
