When I try to playback DVD's I get video in the upper left corner and a green background on the rest of the screen.
Is this just me?

Using the 12882 installer + the 13073 ffmpeg files.

Not much info there but im guessing that you have a ATI card? Try looking in this thread for solution.

Ah, yeah.
Hardware specs didn't cross my mind.

It is actually a Nvidia card. A 8800GTX running version 169.25 of the 64bit Nvidia drivers under Vista Business 64bit to be exact.
