please upload a sample to the:

xbmc use upload site

or give a link to a file that does not play correctly, so that this can be looked into.

would gladly do, but the files (oen rm that plays audio only)  , and one avi (that freezes up xbmc)   are 34 and 30mb  , just above the 25mb limit...

is it ok to split archives ?
#4
cannot upload, the page times out after a while...
is there somewhee else i can put them ? - ftp ?
#5
no, that is the only upload site we have. it will timeout if your upload speed is to slow so make sure use broadband when idle

i am at work, and i have at least 100mbit - and i have all fw access i want...
a while after clinking "upload files" it says

" the page cannot be displayed
the page you are looking for is currently unavailable. the web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.
"

so it's not exactly an timeout due to low bandwidth.

try ms internet explorer, and make sure you enable cookies and disable any firewall that could prevent an upload

each file were rar'ed to two <25mb chunks
even the smallest part was 5.6mb - yet it fails after about the same time as the 20mb part.

pm me if you are on irc (accept dcc) or anything...
